The Prophet Mohammad SAWW's Demise and the Ummah

The Prophet SAWW who had toiled and moiled for 23 years to guide and direct the ummah on The Right Path suffered most at the hands of his ummah. His sufferings are still not over, for besides torturing, defaming and massacring his progeny and his real followers, The Muslims lower his lofty status to that of mere "elder brother". The Prophet SAWW whom ALLAH SWT formally addresses as "Ya Ayyuha Rrasool" cannot but be "Wa maa Muhammadun illa Rasool". Nobody refers to Hadhrat Ibrahim AS, Hadhrat Musa AS, Hadhrat Isa AS etc as "an elder brother", but they have the audacity to refer to Seyyidil Mursaleen as "an elder brother". The Qur'an enjoins obedience of ALLAH SWT, The Prophet SAWW and Ulil Amr AS (the Aimmah of Ahlul Bayt ),and parents, but not to elder brother in The Qur'an. So, are Muslims trying to get out of obedience of The Prophet SAWW so that they can believe and do whatever they wish and label it as Islam? The Qur'an commands the believers to "Take whatever The Prophet SAWW gives you and eschew whatever he forbids you". In other words, The Prophet SAWW's words, actions and tacit approval are obligatory upon Muslims.

This whole philosophy of lowering the status of The Prophet SAWW and accusing him of forgetting or being overcome by Satanic interference and recite "Satanic verses" is to whitewash the atrocities of false claimants to The Prophet SAWW's mantle. God Forbid, such a prophet cannot be a guide to ALLAH SWT's Path. So, whoever considers The Prophet's status this low has misrepresented The Qur'an and questioned ALLAH SWT's Judgment of ordaining The Prophet SAWW as an Impeccable Guide.

Where did it all start? It started when someone accused The Prophet SAWW as being delirious when he sought pen and paper to write down something that would prevent the ummah to go astray. Nay, it started even earlier when someone began to cast doubts on The Prophet SAWW's prophethood. The result is Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses, Danish cartoons or constant barrage of defamation of The Prophet SAWW. When non-Muslims bent on mischief cast aspersions on The Prophet SAWW, Muslims go on rampage, become violent and virulent, thus providing more ammunition to the enemy.

Such Muslims have rejected Mawwadata fil Qurba, Ayatul Tatheer, and Ayatul Wilayah while saying "Hasbuna KitabaLLAH". Anyone who rejects even one verse of The Qur'an cannot claim to adhere to The Qur'an. And when The Prophet SAWW categorically said "I am leaving behind two weighty things: The Book of ALLAH and My Itrah, My Ahlul Bayt, and the two shall never separate till they reach me at Kauthar", then hostility to the Itrah and usurping of their rights, killing them and confiscating their properties is detaching oneself from The Prophet SAWW. Thus, there is no adherence to Al-Islam any more. Paradoxically, while rejecting The Prophet SAWW's wish, which according to The Qur'an is "Wa maa tashaoona illa an yashaaALLAH", these Muslims have accepted arbitrary prohibitions and innovations in the code of Islam. Why are these acceptable when The Prophet SAWW's wish for pen and paper was rejected? There is only one explanation: the Umayyad objection as to why Risalah and Imamah/Khilafah should remain in the same family. Was Ibrahim not made Imam when he was also the prophet? In other words, ALLAH SWT's Will and choice are being questioned. The Qur'an warned of strayers who would revert to Jahiliyyah when The Prophet SAWW died. Before calling the real adherents of The Prophet SAWW kafir, search your own souls O deviant Muslims and see if the label does not ricochet on you. Living in a glass house and throwing stones at others is foolish. The Qur'an has been misunderstood.
