Al-Iman School Hosts Interfaith Dialogue and Photo Exhibition

New York, May 18, 2006 - Al-Iman School’s Islamic Society Club invited Mr. Fredrick Brenner to exhibit his collection of photographs of international Jewish community.

Mr. Brenner is a distinguished international photographer with extensive travel experience in USA, France, UK, Palestine, Israel, Azerbaijan, India and several central Asian countries where he has depicted different aspects of Jewish life.

Students of Al-Iman School held an inter-faith dialogue with him and he answered questions to their full satisfaction.

The Principal of the School in his closing address commended his work and stressed upon the similarities of the Abrahamaic faiths. Earlier a prominent Islamic Philosophy scholar, Dr. Maqsood Jaffry stated that The Qur’an, The Torah and The Bible mention prophets Abraham, Moses and Jesus frequently and Al-Islam exhorts its followers to respect all faiths.

The program was coordinated by Sr. Sajida Jalazai who is the Co-Program Director of Abraham’s Vision.

Several Jewish, Christian and Muslim intellectuals were among the audience at this photo exhibition.
