During the tour the ambassadors were briefed on the services and facilities the Foundation provides to the community. A presentation by Sr. Iman Dakmak-Rakka on the Al-Iman School and its extension project was the highlight of this tour. The Ambassadors and Sheikh Al-Sahlani later gave remarks in which they denounced the violence taking place in different parts of the world and stressed on the need for unity in the Muslim community. The remarks were preceded by an address from Syed Meesam Razvi, the Foundation's Representative to United Nations, who welcomed the Ambassadors on behalf of the Foundation and the community in New York.
Complete transcripts of the remarks given by the Ambassadors will be posted later.
