Al-Iman School Announces Scholarship Loans

Recognizing this need, Al-Iman School, with the help of Imam Al-Khoei Foundation and the larger community, has taken the noble step of announcing this Scholarship-Loan program. The program has been designed to help pay the tuition for students who excel academically, but are suffering hard-ship. The program provides for a zero interest loan, to be paid back in agreed number of installments six months after the student graduates from the school. For now, only students from grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 are eligible to apply. The applicants are evaluated by an independent committee for approval. A qualified applicant is required to fulfill the following criteria:

1. A consistent record of excellent academic performance for at least six months at the School with a Cumulative GPA (CGPA) from 3.5 – 4.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for at least the past two years.
2. Financial incapability of the applicant’s family.
3. Seriousness of purpose and good, consistent Islamic behavior.
4. Unreserved willingness to start repayment of the loan six months after the graduation.
